Date is set

In December 2007 we met with the perinatologist who is the specialist we mentioned in previous posts. The specialist told us that Raquel MUST be born via c-section and that it was their goal to keep the baby in the womb as long as possible. We were shooting for keeping the baby in the womb for 37 weeks to give the baby the best chance of survival.

The news of a mandatory c section did not sit well with Terry. Like I mentioned before she is an all natural kind of girl. Our first baby was delivered via c section (although we found out later that this wasnt required after all) and our second via natural “vbac”.

We did get some peace knowing that the doctors intended to leave the baby in the womb as long as possible. The date for delivery was set as March 21, 2007.
